Brief
To increase awareness of and add value to the Spooks TV series. The site had to provide additional content and functionality to a wide demographic audience, but with a bias toward teens.
Strategy
The user was invited to join the ‘Spy Academy’ - a virtual training programme for wannabe spooks. The training consisted of 10 games, each related to an episode and released weekly on the site after the broadcast of the episode. The leaderboard champion at the end of the series won an ‘SAS’ activity weekend. Content was continually and topically added to encourage repeat visits and messageboards were also included.
Result
An average of 170,000 gameplays per episode throughout the 10 week run - peaking at 860,000 for 1 week during that period.
